Erin Pitts, OD

Dr. Pitts is a cum laude graduate of Stephen F. Austin University where she worked as an optometric technician during her years obtaining an undergraduate degree. She moved to Houston to attend the University of Houston College of Optometry where she was included into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and graduated cum laude. She is a member of the College of Optometrists in Visual Development and spends a significant amount of continuing education in neuro-developmental optometry with an emphasis on binocular vision and vision-related learning problems.

Following optometry school, Dr. Pitts continued to serve in family practice settings specializing in pediatrics and visual function before opening her own practice in 2017, Eyes on Cypress. Seeing the need for more vision therapy services in her community, Cypress Vision Therapy began accepting therapy patients a year later.

When’s she not serving our patients in the office, you will find her spending time with her 3 girls and drinking way too much coffee.
